In a desperate attempt to shut down the ALEX 7000 before it can activate the doomsday device, Jaime tries to gain access to the super-computer’s memory core. But the computer retaliates using its deadly defences, and manages to disable Jaime’s bionic arm; undaunted, Jaime doggedly continues in her attempt to reach the core, earning the respect of the computer. But Jaime is unaware that, outside the computer complex, the military have despatched an airplane containing a thermonuclear device which will be used to destroy the ALEX 7000 - and unless Jaime can escape in time, she will also be killed in the explosion…
